SWAP'ra MAKES SPACE
MAKING WORK WORK FOR WOMEN*
SWAP’ra Makes Space is a series of targeted gatherings designed to focus on the challenges women* face within their own disciplines. The isolation that many female* creatives experience, particularly this year, has a far more damaging impact on career progression and quality of life than is often given credit.
Each session will be facilitated by a member of SWAP'ra along with a guest speaker. The aim is to foster a feeling of community and peer-to-peer support, offering time and space to exchange ideas and resources to leave you feeling positive, connected, and empowered. From these initial conversations, SWAP’ra will develop bespoke, ongoing events that are tailored to the needs identified for each #MakeSpace network.
The initial meet-up will last for approximately 90 minutes. We will then review what the following session should entail based on the needs you identify as a group, and when/how often to hold the subsequent meetings.
