SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Sara is currently in her 3rd year studying for a Masters of Music, in Vocal and Operatic Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, under the tuition of Christopher Turner. For the past 8-9 years, Sara has enjoyed a successful career as a freelance Soprano, working with the likes of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Welsh National Opera, Infinite Opera, Armonico Consort, Birmingham Opera Company, and Ex Cathedra. Sara was a finalist in the Ashleyan Opera Prize 2024, and is a proud recipient of the Josephine Baker Oratorio Trust Prize. Sara is a full lyric soprano, with a particular passion for Bach and Puccini. Past arias and roles she has sung include Donna Elvira, The Countess, Rusalka, Mimi, Magda, Manon, Annio, and Ellen Oxford. Upcoming engagements include singing solos in Handel’s Messiah with Birmingham Festival Choral Society, as well as recitals in Derby Cathedral, and St Paul’s Church in Birmingham, and other opera gala concerts.
