SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Mayuri is a 2nd year music student, singer, conductor, and flautist at the University of Bristol. An alumna of Glyndebourne Academy and lead singer in ‘The Choral’, Mayuri also sings with the University of Bristol Singers and is a choral scholar at the church of St Mary Redcliffe. Mayuri is also Artistic Director and soprano 1 in The Cecilia Ensemble – a newly formed upper voice and harp ensemble based in Bristol. In addition to singing, Mayuri also enjoys conducting, and currently conducts the University of Bristol Chamber Choir. Previous conducting highlights include Don Giovanni and Cavalleria Rusticana with the University of Bristol Opera Society, and future engagements include conducting the Verdi Requiem. Mayuri is also vocal coach at several youth choirs across the South West and the West Midlands. Outside of music, Mayuri enjoys reading, sewing, and doing yoga.
