SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Welsh soprano Manon Ogwen Parry is currently studying on the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama under Marilyn Rees, supported by the Michael Bryant Bursary, the Tallow Chandlers’ Scholarship, and the Sybil Tutton Opera Scholarship from Help Musicians. A Gold Medal finalist, she graduated with First Class Honours from both the Bachelor and Master of Music programmes at Guildhall. In 2025, she made her BBC Proms debut and Edinburgh International Festival with London Symphony orchestra under the baton of Sir Antonio Pappano. In 2024, she made her Carnegie Hall debut, followed by her Wigmore Hall debut alongside Graham Johnson OBE. Their collaborations include a recital at the Leeds Lieder Festival, and she has also appeared at the Machynlleth Music Festival with Julius Drake. Manon has awarded the W. Towyn Roberts Scholarship at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, the Osborne Roberts Scholarship, the Paul Hamburger Prize for Voice, the Ryan Davies Memorial Bursary, as well as the Susan Longfield Award. She is also a past winner of the Junior Kathleen Ferrier Bursary, and second prize in the Llangollen International Voice of the Future competition. She has represented Urdd Gobaith Cymru at the North American Festival of Wales.
