Geoff began his musical education as a chorister at Westminster Cathedral. Following a very protracted voice break, he became a choral scholar at St John's College Cambridge, where he read Music. After many years in the wilderness, including a stint as a barman in Florence, he began his singing studies in earnest at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2021. In 2022, Geoff performed the role of Scarpia in Opera Loki’s touring production of Tosca, for which he received an OffWestEnd award nomination for Best Opera Performance. He also helped create a role for Waste Paper Opera’s original new work, Dead Cat Bounce, which premiered at Somerset House and toured the UK in 2024. That same year he was a SongEasel Young Artist along with his duo partner Joanna Lam. This summer he has performed the role of Colline in Regents Opera’s La Boheme as well as the title role in an abridged version of Handel’s Giulio Cesare at the Edinburgh Fringe.
