Felicity Hayward Felicity Hayward studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and Trinity Laban, where she won the Silver Medal and the Gladys Puttick prize, and now performs widely as a consort soprano and soloist with ensembles including Chamber Choir Ireland, the BBC Singers and Polyphony, with whom she recently toured the USA. Her solo work spans opera and oratorio, with highlights including Micaëla in Carmen (Dartington Festival Orchestra), Handel Messiah with Irish Chamber Orchestra, Verdi Requiem with Peregrine Orchestra, and Bach Magnificat at the Cadogan Hall, as well as leading Opera Afternoon Tea at the Royal Albert Hall. Felicity is also a committed advocate for new music and song. She was awarded 2nd Prize and the Audience Prize at the 2016 John Kerr Award for English Song, and has premiered numerous contemporary works, most recently with the Theorbo Today project.
