SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Mandy Ching Man is a soprano known for 'power and joy, precision and range'. She recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Vocal Performance Diploma with distinction. Born in Hong Kong, Mandy graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA degree in Music. Later she obtained Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Master of Cultural Geography in UK Choral Soundscape from Royal Holloway University of London with distinction. During her studies in UK, she was one of the soprano choral scholars in both Chapel Choirs of Royal Holloway and Trinity Laban. During her time at Royal Holloway, she won the Second prize in the Royal Holloway Concerto Competition. Mandy’s recent roles include Monkey King in The Monster of Gao Village (Tête à Tête 2023); Soprano Ensemble in Turandot (Grimeborn Opera Festival 2023); Constanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Sussana in Le Nozze di Figaro, Gilda in Rigoletto and Ariel in Try me, Good King (Trinity Laban Opera). Besides performing, Mandy is also an experienced singing teacher and choral conductor. She has been recently appointed as the Music Director of the Edinburgh Telephone Choir.
