SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Spanish soprano Anna Lluna has performed in concert as part of the Royal Academy of Music’s Resounding Shores series, and as soprano soloist at the Festival Residències de Música de Cambra in Valencia, Spain. Her passion for highlighting non-canonic European music has brought her to devise programs of Spanish and Catalan Art song for the Academy, collaborating with string quartet and trombone. Recent concerts have brought Anna to St Alfege Church, Greenwich and Holy Sepulchre Church in Holborn with recitals exploring how composers have set texts through time, alongside her regular collaborator, Amy Bach. Anna has appeared in opera scenes as Adina from L’Elisir d’Amore and Zerlina from Don Giovanni, and her passion for new music has lead her to premiere new opera compositions, including singing the title role in Courtney Cousins’ Echo at the Academy, and Yan-Ee Toh’s Imposters and Adam Zolty’s The Manicurist at Tête-à-Tête Festival, and Alice in an excerpt of Cecilia McDowall’s Airborne. Future performances include Donna Elvira in Opera Scenes in February 2026, and a day of recitals for the Wigmore Hall’s For Crying Out Loud! concert series in November 2026.
