SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Katy Garden is a Canadian-British soprano who lives in the South-West of England. Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, after a successful start to her music career in Vancouver performing contemporary classical music, she moved to the UK in 2010 to pursue her Masters of Music at the Royal College of Music. Since then, she has performed with professional choirs in the UK and Norway, and performed as a soprano soloist with a number choral societies, with highlights including Verdi's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria and Jenkin's Armed Man. She has performed in several operas including Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro with Bath Opera. Ben Jenkins and Katy Garden first started working together after performing in a Ukraine fundraising concert at the Bristol Beacon. They perform regularly together as a duo in Clevedon and Bristol and their favourite regular gig is with 100 year old cinema, The Curzon Clevedon - providing live music before their ROH screenings.
