SINGER BIOGRAPHY:

Gabriella is a Mezzo-Soprano from London. Following a career as an ensemble singer and conductor, which included a permanent post with the Flemish Radio Choir and a conducting post at London’s St Martin-In-The-Fields, she decided to pursue a career as a soloist. Concert highlights include performing the solo voice in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony at the Beijing Music Festival and oratorio appearances with The London Mozart Players (B Minor Mass) and the Brandenburg Sinfonia. She has been grateful to develop her craft with young artist positions, including on the Wigmore French Song Exchange, which culminated with recital appearances at Salle Cortot in Paris and at the Wigmore Hall in 2024. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she is now in the final year of the opera programme. This summer, Gabriella made her role debut as Cherubino in Cumbria Opera Festival’s The Marriage of Figaro and has appeared in choruses at La Monnaie Opera House and at Garsington Opera. Alongside opera and song, Gabriella loves performing early music and toured Europe performing as a soloist in Bach cantatas through a young artist’s position with Fundaciòn Salvat in Barcelona. She was awarded the 2023 Rodney Gibson prize for Early Music by the Association of English Singers and Speakers. Gabriella was a 2024 Alvarez Young Artist at Garsington Opera and is grateful for the support of the Knight Family Foundation, the Worshipful Company of Dyers, and the Worshipful Company of Horners.
